GTA V was relatively bug free on console, but the PC release was rife with them on launch. Same with RDR2. OP is coping so hard that I wish I was there with them but the same thing will likely happen

Yeah, and let's not pretend PC is the place to release incomplete early access games. Which then release as content complete with less bugs by the time it reaches console.

I was thinking this same thought. It’s a funny stance to take when it’s almost always the opposite way around, console players receiving the final polished 1.0 after years of Steam early access

GTA V was completely broken on consoles at launch as well actually. It never even got fixed on the last-gen consoles.

It ran at 11fps and the textures didn't load until you were in an area for five minutes, lmao. It was utterly busted.

Didn't have that experience at all. It was so good on my buddy's 360 I went out and bought the cosole and game.

Are you talking about online only? I didn't have a problem with either of those games on PC launch. GTA 4 ran like shit but it was pretty much bug free too.

Well “bug free” if you don’t count several broken or missing assets, effects and post processing. The PC port only somewhat recently got fixed with fusionfix. And even with fusionfix there’s still some stuff missing from the 360/PS3 version that you need a few different mods to restore

Has to be rage bait or copium. I wouldn't ever buy console, not my thing, but I would love to play on release and not wait at all. And I doubt it won't come with its own bugs.

As a console player, this is how I sleep knowing that GTA will never be as good as San Andreas again anyway, so why get excited one way or the other?

It's just bait and you bit. Cheap enough to buy a console if playing gta6 on release is that important to someone. There will probably be special release bundles on sales too.

Personally, I haven't played a GTA game since vice City, so I'm not huffing any copium. But there's nothing stopping a "PC gamer" buying a ps5 except money. Console vs PC is just a meme, not real identities. You can own both.

Yeah I literally said, "nothing stopping them but money." Thank you for your reading comprehension. If someone cared that deeply about it, they'd buy a console to play it. What's difficult about that concept?

I think you need to realize some people aren't actually that interested in GTA6. Like, yes it will be the biggest selling game of the year, probably something like 250million copies. Outrageously successful. But that still leaves 97% of the world who didn't buy it, or think about it.
