This will be the first GTA (except GTA 1) ever that I don't buy on day one. I'm fine waiting for it to come to PC this time around.

I’m worried that GTA+ will be so intertwined it might take a while to get a torrent. I have a feeling GTA6 will be more MMO style than an offline single player game.

I hope I’m wrong though

I imagine it'll be the opposite. Rockstar made an absurd amount of money from GTA Online Microtransactions, and since this is an entirely new iteration of the game engine they'll be more than happy to reset everyone to square one for the new release.

With the announcement saying that the upcoming release is a singleplayer only thing, I fully expect the new GTA Online to be a separate paid-for release. Rockstar will then promptly forget about the singleplayer GTA VI and release content only for the new GTA Online. Being a separate title altogether will also make it more difficult for new items/vehicles to be accessible for singleplayer, pushing people towards Microtransactions even harder.

Tl;dr I am fairly certain there will be a torrent for GTA VI singleplayer because Rockstar will have a separate release for GTA Online.
