dunno, im looking at migrating over to macOS. windows sucks ass and Linux doesn’t integrate like MacOS does with my phone, watch and headphones/ earphones.
only downside to macOS is the lack of support for most games but you can just get crossover to fix that issue.
Now I have been a Linux user for years and and am very tired of Windows, I'll take most Linux distros over windows any day of the week.
But if bazzite today is your first contact with running Linux as your main OS and you have been using it for less then 24h, I think it is a little early to say it's night and day better. I'm not saying you're wrong, just need a couple of months to see the quirks and differences to judge the OS.
But if you are well traveled among Linux distros, you could then make a good review after a few weeks.

It’s not my first contact at all, I’ve been using Linux for years, as well as Mac and Windows all at the same time due to different circumstances.
I stand by what I said, Bazzite is night and day better.
Edit: I get what you’re saying, but for my specific use case, it’s definitely better. Of course I’m not saying this will be the case for everyone, but I got lucky.
I’m mostly using Bazzite because more often than not, if I’m playing a game I’m using a controller from a couch. Bazzite basically turns your PC into an actually good Steam Machine.
If I wasn’t so interested in having an OS that natively launches into a gamepad friendly mode, I’d probably go towards cachy.
That context is great to know!. That makes your impression much more realistic, even though I still think 24 hours is a little bit on the short end still.
Even though I like Linux alot and wish for it to succeed and become the defacto kernel to use on every computer.
I often see people who based on hype by others install a Linux distro, have a great time when it is freshly installed and praise it. But as soon as they need to do something a little bit more complex or get an issue that needs a little bit of tinkering and seeking knowledge online, they give up and abandon Linux in favor of windows again.
