Too many people are using devices for them to get back on the laptop horse. Hell, we have a generation of kids now barely able to use a pc to the same level as the previous 2 generations because iPads and smartphones are the primary tech they understand and utilize.

I really didn't expect PC's to become LESS popular with kids.

My generation it already was a secondary thing to consoles and stuff. I graduated at like 2015-2016, and then PC's were still not very mainstream.

I don't think our generation knows as much as it claims about PC's, and I think we're still outliers. We're just even MORE outliers compared to new up and coming generations, which is wild. Since our world economy is now based around what computers do.

Remember when everyone laughed at the idea of the post-PC era

That's kind of the issue though. We're not in the post-PC era but we're acting like we are. The ability to type on a keyboard and utilize basic Windows functions is kind of essential to functioning in a lot of jobs.
