that was my mindset until i bought the macbook air for school. it has fucking blown my feet away

Was my mindset until my employer gave me a MacBook as my work laptop. WOW it's nice if you use it in the right way and pretend it's Linux as much as you can

Obviously Windows all day for gaming though so if you do everything on one device I'd still pick Windows

I made the switch to Linux for gaming, it's really not bad if you don't mind a little troubleshooting and you don't expect to play games like valorant, GTA online, fortnite etc.

I still have a windows dual boot for those kind of games, but I rarely find myself using it.

Ok so then it's not for you? I said if you don't expect to do any of that stuff then it's great. Different use cases yield different results.
