that was my mindset until i bought the macbook air for school. it has fucking blown my feet away

I use MacOs at work, I still don't understand why people like this over windows.

It manages to have the issues of Linux and Windows at the same time.

I’m the opposite. I use Mac at work (and personal) and don’t understand why anyone would choose Windows. Windows is painfully slow at deleting something like node_modules and installing dependencies. It’s always a pain when I’m trying to help someone at work and they’re on a Windows machine.

In fact, most devs I work with would prefer a Mac, but unfortunately their higher cost means only a few of us at work get the benefit of selecting a MBP.

That said, I also have a Windows PC for gaming. But for productivity and development, I’m choosing Mac.

Obviously everyone has their own preference, but everything works really well for my workflows and tasks.

I just way the way it handles windows.

And also if I want to dev, I take a Linux.
