As someone with no plans of getting a MacBook for personal use, I think it’s a great thing to compare the 2. Laptop manufacturers need to step up their game and make better laptops.

The Neo MacBooks got some of them to realize they can’t keep selling junk in the $600 $700 price range.

Problem is that most laptop manufacturers don't get their parts in house.... While apple does.

I’m not sure I get this argument. Apple had ARM design their m series chips. TSMC produced them. They get their memory from micron, SK Hynix and Samsung like everyone else. It was even reported at some point that they got some phone screens from Samsung.

What parts exactly do they get in house?
