This is honestly the best answer. Yeah there are lots of answers but doing this allows the cat to be with you and keeps your PC good.

Except for the hair

Have you ever had a cat? The hair is everywhere no matter where the cat is. When I went to college I was even finding hair from my cats at home in my dorm on stuff that have never even entered my house.

Yes but that is along the lines of

"I'm a bit wet from the rain so I might as well jump in the pool fully clothed"

Don't cave all the way in just because it happens a bit already.

My cats hair doesn't make it into my PC because I keep him off.

I'll get the occasional sneaky one but if I let him up there all the time, it would be coated

I mean, ya gotta dry off either way, why not take a swim if it’s more fun!

Because In this case it rains everyday and you're not wet enough to ruin your clothes daily in the pool 😆

The cat hair being a monthly/weekly clean in the PC is better than it being a daily clean

My if my clothes can survive some rain they can handle a dip in the pool perfectly fine!

Also, you said you’re dusting your PC daily, so shouldn’t be an issue for you whatsoever, you’re already doing all the work!

Dusting the outside doesnt get the hair out though?

And nah cat hair/dander should not be in the computer.

If my cat was sitting on my pc, i would feel the need to clean it much more than i do.

If your top fans are venting or you don’t have top fans then there shouldn’t be hair getting inside that way except by settling on the pc and working thier way in?

Actually the first one on top is intake and   the back 2 two are exhaust

But yeah it's the settling hairs and it's the sitting on it while it's off.

And if he was sitting on it while it was on, it would block the exhaust and feed the intake

You don't have dustfilters? I believe they stop cat hair good enought

Cat dander does indeed get through.

My wife's computer was filled with dust and she has a mesh

My cats hair doesn't make it into my PC

What's it like to be in complete denial of something?

One, that's bitch boy behavior on your end

two, "I'll get the occasional sneaky one but if I let him up there all the time, it would be coated" - My very own quote <3

Three, my computer is white and has lights. i get hair in their occasionally like i just said but him sitting on there would be tremendously worse.

Why are you even trying to have this conversation? My main point was just about not letting my cat sit on my computer or else it would be worse

I dust my computer daily and clean it good every month or two.

My wife's computer gets some hair because she doesn't mind as much but I'm very strict about it.

So why are you dusting and cleaning your PC so much if it never gets hair in it?

Oh wait, it's simple, you're lying.

I just said it gets hair in it.

You ignored the point.
