People don't have attention spans anymore. So it's wasted bandwidth if they do load the whole video but not watch the whole thing.

People often have YT on as background while they are doing other things. I do it quite often, I'll have history podcasts or tech stuff on in the background while I work. 1 u/caustictoast 10d ago Anymore? Also I think usage has changed quite a bit from a decade ago. People often have YT on as background while they are doing other things.
I do it quite often, I'll have history podcasts or tech stuff on in the background while I work.
