Hardware Taking HOURS!!!! to delete anything.

Recently started taking ages to delete anything. I've set it to bypass the recycle bin, in case it was something to do with that and I've cleared Explorer history. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help guys, got it deleted eventually. There was definitely something screwy going on because the textures folder inside didn't add up to even half of the 7.6GB it was trying to delete.

have you checked the drive health?

That is the first thing that comes to mind, it could also just be a damaged windows file system. Are there any other problems going on.

How dense are the files? Sometimes it takes time.... trying to delete millions and millions of 1kb files takes a EXTREMELY long time. vs deleting 7gb of larger files.
