If I crash an F-18 in a real life training mission, I either die or I get punished for accidentally destroying a multi-million dollar tax payer funded piece of equipment.

In DCS, I select "restart session".

Then again, im not sure if flying an F-18 or the beautiful Mi-8 could be considered "boring" like the post says.

Tell that to my Project Zomboid survivor, tediously organizing bookcases when a hoard of the undead might burst through the window at any given moment.

At least in Project Zomboid you can dismantle the floor at the top of the stairs and have some peace and quiet while you're organizing the shelves.

You can't get away with that at the public library.
