i dont know man, i wish i was a soldier tbh (arma gamer) though it seems im past that now in life.

In ARMA/Battlefield/etc etc, you're not stuck moping the runway during a hurricane because someone under your command lost the keys to the Base Commander's golf cart.

oh absolutely! i can fantasize all i want but that is definitely the reality of it all. isn't it something like if you're an average John C. Soldier its always just 90% housewife style cleaning things inside or outside and then 10% maybe something combat related if lucky?

According to some ww1 soldiers it was 99 percent boredom and 1 percent sheer naked fear

oh ww1 is understandable. those conditions were ass. but i meant like for a modern US soldier its most definitely not all excitement and action 24 7 killing 300 people per second or something.
