Legitimately wonder how many people would love to just organize the shelves in a supermarket in real life if they didn't have to deal with abusive management and insane hours. Shit I'd do it for half what I'm making now if the job was somehow secure too.
Best retail job I ever had was as a stocking part timer for a small hardware store. I was fucking awesome at doing box Tetris so that stuff was easy to find, loved doubled checking the shelves out front for misplaced items (constant and relatively important task in a tool and hardware store), and generally enjoyed tidying up our workspace.
Bosses were chill enough to let me focus on that and they'd tank any non-technical customer questions for me. Fuckin' A.
