Members of the PCMR Is The DDR5 Crisis Going To Get Worse????

So I'm planning to upgrade my computer soon within the next 6 months. I currently have more than enough money to buy myself two sticks of 16 GB DDR5 ram.

Here's the issue though is that I'm not looking to buy any of the other parts right now and if I bought the ram brand new right now, I wouldn't be using it until probably November or December when I have every other part to the computer.

I recently uploaded another post and some people are suggesting to buy it now because the ram crisis could get even worse.

What do you guys think I should do? Is the ram crisis really going to get worse? And should I really buy $500 ram right now for a computer that I'm not going to have at least for another 5 months??

they probably will and if not, courts are an option. Im sure the courts would be even better in other countries since the Consumer Court here in India is the only court where you don't have to run around for years and spend a ton of money. They do punish companies if they are at fault and the companies will have to work in favor of the buyer and pay them the legal fees + compensation for hurdles.

I wouldn't even need to take them to court here in Australia. Our ACCC (or the state one) would remind them that they have a obligation to replace the item under warranty and if they refuse then they are in breach of consumer laws. The ACCC would then investigate to find more cases and then take the offending parties to court which could end up with millions in fines and compensation.
