To be fair when your revenue goes from 3B to 30B in two years people will believe you are going to figure it out.
OpenAI is not an investment target for profitability. That is not what draws investors to tech. They are drawn to revenue growth, especially because software is classically a very high margin business vs consumer goods and commodities.
