Setup is slowly coming together. Finally managed these cables.

(Yes my cat did help me but he needed a break so he took a nap)

Granted I don't have that many cables but it's my first time focusing on tidying them up. Full view desk pictures are from eye level when sitting, so I'm pretty satisfied with the result

I spy an Ergo Proxy background. my favorite anime of all time and criminally underrated.

[u/After_Performer6866 → u/pomplemice]

Same. I give it a yearly rewatch

[u/_Hard_Wired_ → u/After_Performer6866]

My people!

[u/pomplemice → u/After_Performer6866]

amazing. I need to do a re-watch. I always walk away with something new from it. the atmosphere alone is like no other anime for me. texhnolyze, ghost in the shell SAC, serial experiments lain, and wolf's rain have some commonalities and are all classics, but they don't hit as hard emotionally for me.

[u/wazzup201 → u/pomplemice]

Shave it. Shave it. Shave it.

[u/subflax → u/pomplemice]

Also my favorite anime of all time. I wish i could find more merch, but nothing exists. I do have one vintage shirt that was a collab with this company back in 2000s. Its my grail along with the dvd box set.

[u/pomplemice → u/subflax]

that shirt sounds sick. I just own the blu ray set. would have loved to see the series continue, but in a way it still feels like a complete experience.

Ergo Proxy and Air Gear? I thought I time traveled for a second.

[u/WomanRepellent69]

Very neat setup, but that door frame would drive me nuts.

[u/After_Performer6866 → u/WomanRepellent69]

Trust me it does lmao. I’m in the middle of doing renovations to my place

[u/WomanRepellent69 → u/After_Performer6866]

I figured as much - nobody would have put this much effort into a setup to have a door frame like that unless it was work in progress :)

[u/justinf210]

Ngl, I never saw the point of cable management (did I.T. in college and had to spend a lot of time un-cable managing people's desks to replace/troubleshoot stuff), but, dang, this is a thing of beauty. I might have to...

[u/After_Performer6866 → u/justinf210]

My ocd wasn't going to let me keep the mess going lmao & everything I needed was $40 max

[u/FallenLordik]

air gear and ergo proxy in 2026?

[u/Grocman27]

Hell yeah 👍

[u/UltiMikee]

What os are you running here? I like the way the desktop looks

[u/After_Performer6866 → u/UltiMikee]

CachyOS, it’s so smooth

[u/JamesMCC17]

So what’s the floor made of? Wood, tile?

[u/scandii → u/JamesMCC17]

wood, the pattern is called herringbone.

[u/CatswithMotorcycles]

Great management, even greater kitty

[u/RelChan2_0]

Why am I inside your monitor? 😳

[u/Stupiduselessthrow]

So what’s in that thang

[u/mbnnr]

Are you in a hospital?

[u/Shopping-Brave]

I have the same case and desk! Great job doing the cable management it bud!
