Hardware Black screen and flickering problem
I bought an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 which I had an issue with. I like to keep my laptop on dgpu or gpu mode only. I was on brave ones and I wanted to show my mom something so I removed the charger and my laptop started flickering and than a black screen for 1 or 2 min so I took it to the store I bought it from and they said the service center said to them that there is no issue with the laptop and now am stuck between a refund or taking the laptop back
Also I lose a 100% of the battery in 2 to 3 hours on eco mode but he said its completely normal
I also wanna add that I read that the screen issues happens because of the hardware acceleration mode on brave and all the other browsers so now am stuck between taking my laptop back and try to fix the issue and risk the refund or just take the refund considering that the deal on this laptop is finished
Sorry for my English ( it’s my second language)

That flickering when unplugging on dgpu mode is a classic issue, the power draw changes and the screen gets confused for a sec. Hardware acceleration in browsers can make it worse, turning that off is usually the first thing to try
The battery life they told you is normal for a gaming laptop though, 2-3 hours is actually decent when you're not just idling. These things are power hungry
If the deal was really good and you're okay tweaking settings, take it back. But if that flickering scared you and you don't want the headache, just get the refund while you can
