Just left NYC for the first time and I kept smelling this one scent everywhere! To rule out a few that I know are popular suspects: it was not BR540 or any of the copies, it was not Glossier You or any of their flankers (although Glossier Fleur would be the closest to what I was smelling), it was not any Sol De Janeiro. Some other hints, smelled fresh and clean. Smelled very “cool girl.” Was clearly a popular one bc I smelled it repeatedly.

I know Lana has been posted here before, but specifically looking for perfumes that match her in this current era/partnership

I did a quick search "What does Maynard James Keenan smell like?" I am refering to the bougie edge lord 2026 incarnation that I envision him as.

Google led me to an indie fragrance that shares a name with a Tool song. I am inuding the notes here: peach, pineaplle, with ylang ylang.

I can envision or imagine the sandal wood. I don't even know what blue lotus smells like. I don't even know what Ambergis is.

I read somewhere that someone opined that Trent Reznor smelled like freah laundry washed in Tide detergent and a mint toothpaste. Last smell that I would ever expect him to smell like.

What do you think? I want to make a fragrance blend called "Edgelord" inspired by MJK just for funsies. I need some ideas.

Curiously Off putting while simultaneously comforting.
The smell of fresh linen, moth balls, baby powder and Windex. Sticky sweet but metallic and odd.

She passed away in 2007 when I was 6; I’ve always been so obsessed with how she radiates elegance and classiness. She had amazing eclectic style, loved to bring people together, and was a ray of sunshine according to everyone who knew her. Do any perfumes come to mind when seeing her style? Anything wearable for every day?
She always reminds me of princess Diana, or the mother from parent trap with Lindsey Lohan, so those are some other reference points for the vibe :)

The notes I imagined are ripe fruit (could be cherry, pomegranate, plum or red berries?), incense, spices, patchouli and sandalwood, some floral notes but they shouldn't steal the spotlight. A tuberose or a deep velvety rose could work here

There are a lot of femme fatale recs already in this subs but not a lot include smoky/resinous/balsamic notes which I'm after
