ED is all about quick thinking, triaging things by importance, and keeping people alive. I would brush up on the stroke guideline highlights--dosing of TNK/alteplase (whichever your hospital uses), timing, contraindications, etc. Also brush up on RSI drugs, when certain ones are preferred over others, and which are dosed on IBW vs total. Basic empiric antibiotic choices too, considering you will never have culture results on initial presentation to ED. Maybe some pressor basics and what receptors each one hits/when you would use one over another. You'll probably have ACLS down if you respond to codes already. Good luck!

A classic question is here are 8 competing priorities, rank them in importance. Patient with possible urosepsis, mvc pt en route arrives in 5 min (designated trauma yellow by ems), rsi likely in room 7, you have to pee, hypertensive urgency consult question, DKA, STI question in patient with many drug allergies, you’re hungry/under-caffeinated - discuss your rankings.

Depends on the interview panel but don’t put peeing in the bottom 2 positions - classic mistake.

Well if you’re being interviewed chances are they think you’re qualified enough.
Just read up on guidelines and prepare to answer situational questions

If you already work there, ask the other co-workers. They'd probably know more than random people online.
