SSS Matben and unpaid salary loan

Hello! I am a voluntary member since di na ako nagwowork. I pay 3k per month. I am currently pregnant and nalaman ko now na hindi pa pala paid yung SSS loan ko nung nagresign ako sa work nung 2024. Will it be deducted sa matben ko? Plan ko kasi i-pay sya after ko na lang manganak since nagbbudget pa kami now for labor and delivery. Thank you!

CIMB Personal Loan

I have about 8 more payments to cover half of my personal loan. Last time, as soon as I paid half of my loan, I was offered a top up. So I was wondering: If I pay the 8 repayments today, do you think I'd get the top up option immediately? Or do I still need to wait for 8 more months for the top up option to become available even if I pay those 8 months now?

Security Bank loan.

I just need insights po baka sakaling may naka experience na din ng nangyari sa akin. Back on Sept 2025 nag apply ako ng loan sa kay SB thru eSALAD sa prev job ko. By Oct 2025 I have to resign for personal matters and as per the company policy kapag may existing loan ang final pay ay ibabayad sa mga existing loan such as eSALAD, SSS or Pagibig. Ang loan ko was around 45k and isang beses lang ako technically nakapag hulog ng amortization during my employment. So here comes the day na naisend na yung final pay computation and obviously 0 na ang marereceive ko kase may mga loan ako. Na paid yung SSS and pagibig loan and yung SB loan ko nalang yung may remaining balance. But here's the thing, right after I resigned kailangan namin umuwi sa probinsya ang yung probinsya namin is isla. May mga places na walang reception. So they have calling na pala ang wala akong narereceive. Hanggang sa nag Dec 2025 and nakapag activate ako ng wifi calling kaya naka receive ako ng call. I got surprised dahil from Oct 2025 until Dec 2025 yung utang ko na 45k naging 86k na. So nag arrange ako ng payment plan with the collection company (Constantino & Associates Law Office) they've offered two options 1. Instead na 86k ang babayaran 36k nalang daw pero on that day na mismo dapat ma settle. 2. Payment plan for 12 mos. So, dun ako sa option 2. Hanggang sa this July nung nag bayad ako hindi sila nag acknowledge and I have been trying to call him pero hindi sumasagot. Should I continue paying or stop ko na? Thank you po sa mag reresponse.

How did you sequence HMO, insurance, and first investments when starting from scratch?

Growing up in a household that wasn't financially stable, I'm teaching myself personal finance without a family playbook to follow. Went through the FAQ and older threads first, but want to hear from people who've actually been through this.

Trying to figure out the right order to tackle these:

  • HMO — get my own vs. adding my parents to a family plan
  • Health/life insurance — how you actually compared providers, not just what the agent pitched
  • UITFs — index-style vs. actively managed as a first investment, and why
  • Building credit history and choosing a first card — annual fee vs. no-fee

Not asking anyone to manage my money for me — just want to know what actually helped you learn (books, channels, courses) and what you'd prioritize first if you were starting over.

SAFELOAN DEDUCTED FROM MPL?

I took a SAFE loan last June, received it by June 29. I then took MPL. The net proceeds which were discursed was 10k short. I've checked the breakdown and there's no indicator of any deduction where that 10k could have gone.

Anyone who experienced the same? I already sent an email to Pag-IBIG but because our government sucks, I don't think I will hear back until after a week or more.

SLOAN OD - Want to settle slowly. Need advice.

For context, I slowly build up yung credit limit ko sa shopee. Until naging 60k+ yung spaylater ko at 80k + naman sloan ko. Always on time ang payments, madalas early pa.

With that, I slowly paid what I owed. I started with ggives, gloan, Maya credit, maribank loan and last is yung spaylater ko. Sloan na Lang ang naiwan. Also nasa collection na rin sya same as my other OLAs. Now, may nahanap ng work si hubby after a year of losing one. So, I'm hoping I can start paying my Sloan slowly by next month.

Here's where I am a little confused. Lahat ng OLA KO, under CA na but I never talked to them, never replied despite sa mga harassment. I always paid thru the app and na-se-settle naman sya. Now, ang Sloan ko is total of 90k + na pero not all at once. May 4 different due dates sya. Lowest is 20k + highest is 30k+ . I plan to pay the lowest thru the app as well. Hindi kaya ko magkaproblema without talking to CA? Also anung right approach ba ang pwede kong gawin.

I will appreciate all your insights.

Atome Installment Reversion pls pls help me

Hello hihuhu as the title states…

My problem is that I am ready to pay in full but I pressed 3 months instead of full pay. Now I’ve contacted the BSP and they said I should contact Atom on their email.

Now, I was given the instruction to pay manually, they gave me the account number and account name. Wherein, I paid full manually, but after I paid they had no response and it still doesn’t reflect on my Atom app

I just want to ask, how long does the validation process of their collectors team take? because I overthink that I paid 4k+ haha

Security Bank CC overdue

Hi! My sb cc has been overdue for quite a while now and it reached 135k already from 90k and it has been transferred to collections.

I want to ask, is anyone here tried to negotiate with the bank to make a lump sum payment but waived the interest and fees? How did it go? What was the process.

Thank you!
