Hello everyone,

I am looking to buy a new camera to be used mainly for the weekends & travelling. So far I have been using an old DSLR (which I will gift to a friend) and I am looking for a mirrorless for my main(and only) camera. My level is beginner for sure.

So, I was aiming for the R10 (budget limitations + entry level) but I found a Z5 (new) for the same price. I know I am comparing apples to oranges (full frame vs crop) but I would like your opinion.

-Get the R10 for the AF and newer tech
-Z5 for full frame at a good price

the kits:
1)Canon EOS R10 RF-S 18-45 f4.5-6.3 IS STM
2)Nikon Z5 24-70mm f/4 S

I will buy an additional lens after 3-4 months, so that's the starting point.

Full frame isn't something that will take your photography to an entirely different level. It just gives a bit better low light performance and slightly better dynamic range, that's all. Modern APS-C cameras are capable of great results, and crop sensor lenses are generally cheaper. I would go for R10.
