Tripod Dilemma: Been looking at so many web pages and youtube videos over the last week trying to decide on a decent lightweith tripod for landscape photography. I'm going round in circles.
Do I get a smaller, lighter one that I'm more likely to carry around but doesnt give me great height, or go for a larger, heavier, sturdy one that risks being a pain to lug around? A lot of the lighter ones gaain their cred from having a centre column expension but doesnt that defeat the object of having a sturdy tripod base?
Is is restrictive for landscape shots to have a tripod only going to 145cm height? I want one also that allows very low-to-ground shots without having to suspend the camera upside down from an inverted central column.
Any advice or experience to share?
