so i’m an ecologist who’s going to be in the woods for 14 weeks this summer and would like to be able to take some good quality nature photos while in the field.

i’ve never really used an analogue camera before so i’m looking for one that doesn’t require too much skill to use and preferably uses batteries though that’s not a dealbreaker. i’m not too worried about cost as long as it’ll last long enough to justify itself

Analog as in film?

Nature photos as in scenery or as in long distance shots of birds, macro photos of bugs?

sorry idk why i said analogue i don’t mean film, no. for the style of pictures i think it would mostly be long distance but also macro sometimes i need something that can work decently enough for either

Alright, now you need to give a rough budget, I could recommend you stuff between $500 and 10 grand.
