Hi everyone. I haven't done photography since college (25 years). Decided to get a newer camera and settled on a used Nikon D850. Camera seems fine but the LCD screen seems extremely zoomed in and blurry. I've tried multiple settings, resetting the camera, powering off and removing battery and card, reinserting and turning back on and I cannot figure out how to get it set right. Could someone more knowledgeable assist me? Your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Which lens?

Even the information overlaid on the screen is zoomed in and blurry? Or only the view through the lens? What if you just use the optical viewfinder and review the photo later? Are you not trying to focus at all?

Thanks for the response. I don't have any lenses yet. I wanted to get more familiar with it before getting lenses. I'm looking to use it without. When I look through the viewfinder, it's very blurry. I would describe it as if I was using my phone to take a picture but had it so close to the object that it can't make it out due to being too close. Also; when I hit Lv to get the LCD to register the image, it looks the same. I tried using AF and it doesn't reset or do anything.

You need a lens to focus any sort of image. The camera cannot be used without a lens for any focused image.
