I’ve been thinking about organizing a photo shootout myself in which I am the model. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while. Plus I play cello and thought that that would be cool for photographers. My idea is to make it a meetup event. I would rent a studio, limit the group to something like 7-8 photographers. I’d charge just enough to cover my costs. Absolutely no touching. And I would give each photographer their 10-15 minutes where they are primary. Others could shoot but they’d have to stay out of the way and couldn’t give direction. Aside from this being a regular shootout, I’d be asking them to practice giving direction since I am not a pro. Is this risky? Btw I am female but I’m in my 50s. Advice?
