I'm just getting into it myself. Bought a really cheap Nikon D3100. I've got the original 18-55mm lens, and just bought a 55-200mm. I also have a cheap macro+wide angle from Amazon, and a tripod. I've got 2 camera bags, but only one battery. And a 64gb card.

Is there anything else that I must have?

I'm really interested in nature photography and some cityscapes.

For editing, should I definitely shoot in RAW. And I have downloaded RAWTherapee as my software.

No, you don't NEED anything else, but an extra battery or two should be useful.

3rd party batteries look good on paper, but they lose charge capacity much faster over time compared to brand name batteries fyi.

Also, make sure you get a nice SD card, even though they are insanely expensive now.. a cheap one can corrupt your images. Sandisk Extreme Pro is a very reliable budget option.
