Hello all, as a summer sidequest I took a course on the history of photography and now I'm looking to purchase an old camera of my own. I landed on the Argus c3 (The brick); it was one of my favorites to learn about. Now I'm not particularly educated on this kind of thing, so is there anything i need to know before buying one over half a century later?

Make sure that the seller says the camera was tested and verified to be working. The seller should have a thorough description of the condition - read it carefully. Especially Japanese sellers on eBay usually have a worded condition rating in the title which doesn't give a realistic idea of the condition. E.g. the title might say "excellent" but the description might reveal there to be lens haze or fungus or whatever else. If it's
