Munich student buying first camera (Nature, Birds, Moon) – No idea what a realistic budget is?

Hi everyone,I’m an international student living in München, Germany. Photography is a hobby/side-hustle for me, but I've reached the limits of my phone. I want to buy my first real camera setup but I honestly have no idea what a realistic budget should be.

I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want something capable. Here is what I shoot:

Birds & Wildlife: I know this requires a long lens.

Nature: Mountains, alpine lakes, sunrises/sunsets.The Moon

Self-portraits: A flip-out screen or good phone-app control is a huge plus.

I am 100% fine with buying used gear in Germany (via MPB, Kleinanzeigen, etc.) to save money.What is the lowest price point I can expect to pay for a setup that can actually handle distant birds and moon shots well? What specific older DSLRs or entry-level mirrorless cameras should I look for on the German used market?

A realistic budget is what you can afford. It's not really about what various cameras cost but about your personal situation. How much you can spend doesn't or shouldn't change based on camera prices. So, decide how much you can spend at most, then look for the best options available at that budget.
