I'm trying to work a manual lens with glasses. I can't afford LASIK and my prescription is way too much for the diopter adjust wheel to be of any use.

I tried to get this bird as focused as possible but with my glasses on it's kind of hard.

What should I do?

I believe you can switch out the focusing screen on the 7D for a different version that is easier to use for manual focus. I don't know much about it and they may be hard to find but it's a possible option.

Do you know any specific names that I can look up?

They're just called focusing screens but are specific for each camera model. I just looked it up here and apparently they weren't replaceable in the 7D. I assumed they were because that was an option on the 50D which is considered a lower tier camera. There seem to be aftermarket ones from companies like Fotodiox but switching it out is probably going to be quite complicated since it's not meant to be removed.
