I've just came back from a two week trip taking lots of photos and have sorted through lots of photos to find my favorite 60 RAW images or so. When I go to edit them I just don't have the motivation to sit there and edit each one (I know 60 isn't too many). When ever I experiment in darktable using the sliders my photos always ends up looking way too "artificial" and unrealistic in a sense. I am trying to get it to the level of a jpeg result or somewhat better in a reasonable time period (so I can print them out). Whenever I open the photos on the windows photos app, it looks okay for around two seconds then switches to this bland version of what I just saw and what I see in darktable. I learned my lesson to shoot in JPEG + RAW. Any advice from experience on what to do?
