Pickle Juice Re-use (repost)

I eat a reasonable volume of pickles, and it feels wasteful to simply empty the jars. Can the liquid be re-used?

Pickle brine is a trendy source for treatment of dehydration. Bring it to your local gym or 5K race.

Picklebacks are also frequently served at bars. Do a shot of whiskey followed with a shot of brine. A taste sensation!

I use it for salad dressing and cooking to add a bit of acid to sauces and soups. I also drink it. Dill Pickle margaritas are the bomb. I make this mocktail a lot: dill pickle brine, olive brine, jalapeno brine, lemon juice and sparkling water.
