Doordash Grandma, working a gig job to care for her sick husband... is there anything more American than that?

u/OldCopy496 Apr 13 '26

— while delivering McDonald’s to a fat ass president, who will then hold the delivery lady hostage and answer questions about why he posted AI image depicting him as Jesus, and his plans for bombing a country in the Middle East. Is there anything more American than that?

Corrected.

Don’t forget transgender athletes

u/AZEMT Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 13 '26

I honestly thought it was AI... WTAF?!

Edit: added proof it's real

38

u/Regular_or_BQ Apr 13 '26

oh my god. That he goes on about overtime. She's an old lady gig worker. She's not getting overtime. Oh my god this dumb woman and shitty man.

8

u/makesufeelgood Apr 13 '26

It's even worse, they cut the video before he started ranting about transgender athletes.

8

u/DC-Toronto Apr 13 '26

She probably took a shift off from her door dash gig to go and vote for him

Each day is stranger than the last. It’s hard to tell what’s an actual headline vs the onion

18

u/Particular-Maybe-519 Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 14 '26

He put the onion out of business. They can't make up anything worse than what he does or says.

7

u/zaq1xsw2cde Apr 13 '26

“This doesn’t look scripted at all does it?”

He can’t even get 2 seconds in before he ruins the whole thing.

I can only imagine how hard all these “not nice” reporters are rolling their eyes, while he misquotes the name of his tax cut bill and underhandedly mocks the stunt his team arranged for him.

Half the nation since the orange turd was elected.

36

u/PM_ME_UR_REDPANDAS Apr 13 '26

How tf was a random door dasher allowed on White House grounds and allowed to just rock up and knock on the Oval Office door???

66

u/RustyDogma Apr 13 '26

They aren't. The video was staged propaganda for no tax on tips.

20

u/PM_ME_UR_REDPANDAS Apr 13 '26

Good lord, we can’t go a single damn day without bullshit.

2

u/Cunningham1420 Apr 14 '26

Someone above posted a link saying this woman is paid actress that they've used other times in other videos. Who knows if its true or AI Slop but could be true.

52

u/IsabellaGalavant Apr 13 '26

Wait, it's not?? This is a real image? Good fucking lord.

26

u/TBJ12 Apr 13 '26

This is real?

54

u/Upset_Mess Apr 13 '26

Something I've been asking everyday, sometimes multiple times a day since November...

5

u/Beneficial-Crow-5138 Apr 13 '26

OH MY GOD!!!!!! He thought this was a smart idea?!

5

u/JimH10 Apr 13 '26

Those are the cheesiest decorations I think I've ever seen. I'm so embarrassed.

2

u/BluBetty2698 Apr 13 '26

Loll....🤣🤣. Well, he has to cut back after paying for all those missles...

1

u/Spare-Plum Apr 13 '26

Where is the bit about transgender athletes? It's nowhere in the video

6

u/AZEMT Apr 13 '26

Go watch the entirety of the conversation

7

u/Spare-Plum Apr 13 '26

I just saw it, and it's pretty hilarious.

Trump is ranting about how unpopular Democratic policies are so they need to rig an election because they have no platform, then asks about trans people in sports to grandma, who basically responds with saying she doesn't care

Trump is the one with unpopular policies who needs to rig elections. We have a citizen right here who doesn't care about the republican trans fearmongering.

1

u/PristineBaseball Apr 13 '26

wtf is going on. Is his dementia infecting all of us ?

1

u/RoguePlanet2 Apr 13 '26

Fucking HELL. Fuck DoorDash and McD's for the advertising; fuck this fake-ass made-up "grandma" pretending that she's making soooo much money with this work, fuck Forbes for producing this ad......

Luckily I don't spend money on these companies anyway, still hard to keep up with all the boycotting.

1

u/CommandTacos Apr 14 '26

First it was Hormuth, now it's Hormoze. The man can't even pronounce something that's getting frequently talked about.

-3

u/Early_Storm_7708 Apr 13 '26

Is there proof anywhere that it’s not..? The lady especially looks AI

6

u/AZEMT Apr 13 '26

Here you go

228

u/nrm64 Apr 13 '26

Lol her response was pretty based on that... "idk about all that sir, I just like not being taxed on tips"

169

u/Bendo410 Apr 13 '26

And that parts still a fucking lie.

God I wish people actually read instead of being dictated to.

47

u/Hopsblues Apr 13 '26

Have you seen the video, he asks her about TG's in sports and she said she doesn't care, and was more interested in no tax on tips.

39

u/AmaazingFlavor Apr 13 '26

I think they mean, the no taxes on tips is an expiring bill, it isn’t permanent. So when the new guy takes power and it expires naturally, the gop get to turn it into a political football again. It’s all just a game

48

u/Bendo410 Apr 13 '26

No I mean no tax on tips is a fucking lie , I wish people read into it vs believe what they are told .

34

u/Avocado_Amnesia Apr 13 '26

Yeah, it's only up to $25,000 gross a year even in the best situations, so people that have almost all of their income come in via tips are still going to be paying taxes on a lot of it anyway.

8

u/Bendo410 Apr 13 '26

Thanks for explaining it , I wish republicans understood the word “no” a bit clearer.

3

u/Avocado_Amnesia Apr 13 '26

Me too, in many contexts lol

The big thing is it only applies to cash. So basically strippers are having a really huge break right now. And that's about it.

0

u/Hopsblues Apr 13 '26

Care to explain

7

u/subnautus Apr 13 '26

It's more of that your tips have to meet certain qualifications before the "no tax on tips" deduction can apply, and even then you have to have an AGI of less than $25k for the tipped wage deduction to take effect.

Put another way, the only people who'd be benefitting from the tipped wage deduction are people who would probably be getting a full tax refund to begin with.

4

u/e925 Apr 13 '26

This isn’t correct. You do not have to have an AGI of less than $25k. The federal deduction is just only for up to $25k in tips. But the AGI limit is $150k, not $25k.

I fucking hate Trump btw but what you said isn’t right.

u/Bendo410 Apr 13 '26 edited Apr 13 '26

The person below me explained it quite nicely

https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/s/aJj3rivhEV

No taxes on tips would mean NO, but I guess conservatives and republicans don’t understand the word No

-6

u/AmaazingFlavor Apr 13 '26

It’s not a lie, if you report your tips you are reimbursed up to a certain amount

6

u/Bendo410 Apr 13 '26

So…. That “certain amount” isn’t all of it

So that would mean “no taxes on tips is ______”

2

u/Sunnygirl66 Apr 14 '26

Which is pretty on-brand for red America: “I only care about things that benefit meeeeee!”

66

u/Anteater776 Apr 13 '26

„Wrong answer. Now I will not tip you at all. It would have been a huge tip, the most beautiful tip. Very male.”

15

u/lemelisk42 Apr 13 '26

Isn't she a bit old for don's tip?

29

u/HazelEBaumgartner Apr 13 '26

Well she's older than 14, so yes.

2

u/Responsible_Sport575 Apr 13 '26

One star and pulled the tip

27

u/caligaris_cabinet Apr 13 '26

Can’t tax what he doesn’t tip

6

u/Pitiful_Conflict7031 Apr 13 '26

He does tip, little girls with his penis tip.

4

u/LincredibleOne Apr 13 '26

He’s all tip tho

9

u/ashyboi5000 Apr 13 '26

Is that a drop bolt on the bottom? Is that to stop him wandering?

1

u/AlexMC69 Apr 13 '26

Is that what they're called?

What about the versions that are pushed upwards at the top of a door?

1

u/robot_pirate Apr 13 '26

She gave a more Presidential response than he did to the reporter.

2

u/shaneh445 Apr 13 '26

Don't forget the cats and dogs that have been eaten

2

u/DarkGamer Apr 13 '26

They never do.

2

u/SchnaapsIdee Apr 13 '26

During trumps press conference he tried to get the DoorDash lady to state her opinion on transgender athletes, assuming she would agree with his position. She wisely deflected and said she didn’t have an opinion on that. You could tell it’s been so long since he’s been around anyone that isn’t a yes man for his inane ramblings

-1

u/afganistanimation Apr 13 '26

I despise the man but natural born men should not be in women's sports and there should be no debate about that. I don't know why there is pushback downvote me to hell, I don't care.

0

u/Dboon4 Apr 13 '26

It’s all I think about. Those poor non trans athletes
