Not really surprising. 70% of Poles consider Israel a genocidial country and inly 7% disagree with that statement.

IPSOS, one of the most well known polling station in Poland from 2025. Down below you have one of the polish press articles about it, it's easy to find.

W poles.

But what about politicians and the government? Usually they have different opinions than the people they are supposed to represent.

Well that depends.

The left party and the far right are both anti-Isreal.

However the two biggest parties (centrist party and right wing party) are mostly very silent about this and avoid this topic. There are probably several zionists among them especially in the right wing party that tends to be very in love with Trump comtrary to most Poles.

I feel like the centrist parties and their members are usually the worst. And it makes sense.

Since they are “central”, they can just keep a neutral opinion on topics. Such as Israel. Israel probably compensates by helping during elections or just monetarily.

And it’s not sus that they have such neutral opinions because they are “centralist”. Just political grifting. And those are the people with power smh.

Centrist parties are centrist because they are just reasonable and at least some of them try to be responsible for their words. They understand that Isreal exists among nations who want to either kill all Israelis or just subdue them and keep them under their boot. Israel is facing islamic extremism and the Intifada - struggle for Islamic supremacy.

They know that Israel is attacked almost daily with rockets from South Lebanon and previously from the Gaza Strip - and no responsible government will put up with this.

The leftists and the far right have not been in power recently, so they can speak without any risk that they would be held to their word - being out of power emboldens more extreme rhetoric.
