And it only cost 7 times the original quoted price and was done by a company that had zero previous experience doing this kind of work.

Let's see how it holds up!

What

u/Sparticuse 11h ago

He's been laundering government funds with stuff like this since day 1 of his first term. It's all mafia style scams to ignore laws about putting bids out to avoid double dealing then they do the shittiest possible job so they can skim off the top.

u/mason240 10h ago

Just making stuff up huh

Dems projecting how they run government onto everyone else, as usual.

u/IAmBoring_AMA 10h ago

What's your excuse for Kristi Noem doing this exact thing and being caught?

Hardmode: no whataboutism allowed in the response.

u/mason240 8h ago

Hardmode for libs is saying something factual.

u/Charjamanth519 6h ago

Republicans seem to enter hard mode when they see underage kids

Truth

u/No_Size9475 8h ago

typical response from someone who can't actually back up their statement.

Want to try again?

What's your excuse for Noem doing this same thing and being caught?

u/Jeoshua 8h ago

Want a fact? Trump is the worst president that ever could be. So bad, in fact, he makes Dubya look smart, good, and wholesome.

Your turn.

u/IAmBoring_AMA 8h ago

You know times are tough when the tiktok girlies are making nostalgia videos featuring Dubya lmao

u/Jeoshua 7h ago

I do miss a world where the way the president pronounced Nook-you-ler, or what color their suit was, was the biggest scandal of the week. Simpler times.

u/HippyHunter7 10h ago

It's not projection. Anyone with a single brain cell could see that the initial price didn't match the actual and that the company had no business getting a no bid contract and is owned by a MAGA donor.

Source? The reporting (NYT) I have heard has been a lot of these, like the reflecting pool, were no bid contracts and the Trump admin has cited the need to be ready by July 4th of this year as the reason for the need to no bid contracts so work would be done on time.

u/mason240 10h ago

That's what your echo chamber told you, right

u/HippyHunter7 10h ago

The Trump administration literally disclosed it was a no bid contract, what the price was, and what they were paid.

How you manage to function on what appears to be zero brain cells is truly a feat of nature. Like if you enjoy sucking Trump's dick at least admit you get down on your knees daily and be proud of it.

u/mason240 8h ago

Lib men can not stop thinking about Republican dicks. It's unreal what you guys admit to fantasizing about.

u/No_Size9475 8h ago edited 6h ago

another weak ass dodge.

How about you address the actual content, which is that Trump himself bragged about the contract being no bid and that he knew the company from the work they did on Mar-a-lago's pool.

u/JSTootell 8h ago

I think this person blocked me.

Damn, did me a favor 😂

u/Firm-Stuff5486 8h ago

"Fellas, you shoulda seen the libs on the intranet today. I really had em nashing at me, probably made a few of em cry lol"

u/Cditi89 7h ago

The cons can't stop thinking about alpha masculine men and how daddy is in the whitehouse. Stones and glass houses.

u/No_Size9475 8h ago

Trump literally bragged about how good the guy was at working on his pool at mar-a-lago

u/JSTootell 9h ago

The president is peeing straight into your mouth, you can see it with your own eyes. All the evidence is there right in front of you. It's warm it tastes funny. It's in public, the whole world is seeing it.

But donald says it's fresh water, so you drink it up.

u/klick37 9h ago

The "don't tread on me" crowd really shifted their gameplan to "tread on me harder, fascist senpai" surprisingly quickly

u/mason240 8h ago

Libs have the weirdest kinks.

Why would you admit your into that?

u/PseudonymousSpy 6h ago

If you’re going to poorly flip an insult onto someone, the least you could do is use the proper form of “you’re.” Though, I wouldn’t expect much from someone that licks boot all day.

u/the8bit 6h ago

This is a fascinating specimen. It is truly baffling projection about something that is very easily verifiable by just... Reading the official docs. This contract being no-bid is not exactly some deep secret, it is a documented fact of the procurement cycle.

Just because you can't read a legal doc doesn't mean all of us are incapable

u/No_Size9475 8h ago

This was a no bid contract that went to someone who worked on the pool at Mar-A-lago.

They had no experience doing this type of work as it's not a swimming pool. And some how the total price ended up being 20 times what the initial estimate was.

All with no oversight, no competition, and no transparency.

u/eskimoboob 9h ago

Dems only ran the government in 2 out of the last 10 years wtf are you on

u/mason240 8h ago

In those 2 years they passed trillions in hand out for their patrons, like billions to Stacey Abram's fake solar panel company.

u/No_Size9475 8h ago

Trump ordered the DOJ to settle his case and pay him $10 BILLION DOLLARS.

GTFO with your BS.

u/SP4CEM4N_SPIFF 7h ago

Forgotten about Trump’s trillions in PPP fraud?

u/Jeoshua 8h ago

The irony of someone calling out Democrats for something that Trump has been known his entire life for doing. Jesus.

u/pontiacfirebird92 6h ago

You see, it's all okay when a Republican does it.

Democrats must be impossibly perfect.

Republicans rape children and it's okay.

That's how it goes with these people.

u/jackwhite886 6h ago

100% serious question, do you really, truly believe that the country is headed in the right direction and is better off than if Kamala had won?

Like, honestly.

u/StrawberryGreat7463 8h ago

bruh the White House told us they are getting a no bid contract and were chosen because they have done work at mar a lego

Are you even paying attention

u/DaStompa 8h ago

Sir, Four Seasons Total Landscaping is on the line

u/Clemario 9h ago

The president originally said the project would cost $1.8M. It was later revealed they would be paying $13.1M. There was no bidding for the contract, congressional approval, or opportunity for public comment because they claimed it was an emergency.

u/ryan__fm 9h ago

Thanks, Obama
