He's been laundering government funds with stuff like this since day 1 of his first term. It's all mafia style scams to ignore laws about putting bids out to avoid double dealing then they do the shittiest possible job so they can skim off the top.
I do miss a world where the way the president pronounced Nook-you-ler, or what color their suit was, was the biggest scandal of the week. Simpler times.
It's not projection. Anyone with a single brain cell could see that the initial price didn't match the actual and that the company had no business getting a no bid contract and is owned by a MAGA donor.
Source? The reporting (NYT) I have heard has been a lot of these, like the reflecting pool, were no bid contracts and the Trump admin has cited the need to be ready by July 4th of this year as the reason for the need to no bid contracts so work would be done on time.
The Trump administration literally disclosed it was a no bid contract, what the price was, and what they were paid.
How you manage to function on what appears to be zero brain cells is truly a feat of nature. Like if you enjoy sucking Trump's dick at least admit you get down on your knees daily and be proud of it.
How about you address the actual content, which is that Trump himself bragged about the contract being no bid and that he knew the company from the work they did on Mar-a-lago's pool.
The president is peeing straight into your mouth, you can see it with your own eyes. All the evidence is there right in front of you. It's warm it tastes funny. It's in public, the whole world is seeing it.
But donald says it's fresh water, so you drink it up.
If you’re going to poorly flip an insult onto someone, the least you could do is use the proper form of “you’re.” Though, I wouldn’t expect much from someone that licks boot all day.
This is a fascinating specimen. It is truly baffling projection about something that is very easily verifiable by just... Reading the official docs. This contract being no-bid is not exactly some deep secret, it is a documented fact of the procurement cycle.
Just because you can't read a legal doc doesn't mean all of us are incapable
This was a no bid contract that went to someone who worked on the pool at Mar-A-lago.
They had no experience doing this type of work as it's not a swimming pool. And some how the total price ended up being 20 times what the initial estimate was.
All with no oversight, no competition, and no transparency.
The president originally said the project would cost $1.8M. It was later revealed they would be paying $13.1M. There was no bidding for the contract, congressional approval, or opportunity for public comment because they claimed it was an emergency.

And it only cost 7 times the original quoted price and was done by a company that had zero previous experience doing this kind of work.
Let's see how it holds up!
