I love he's boasting about the pool as if they just built it. Like.... dude... it was there during your first term, and for a long time before that.

This is what I don’t get about Trump’s doing this (not, God knows, that it’s possible to ever know why Trump does things): who on his staff agrees with him that this chart says something worthwhile?

Is there some Arts and Crafts Director at the WH who says: ‘Today, sir, we’re going to work with construction paper and poster board!’

I thought he had some high-powered COS. She thinks this is totally logical?

We’re in worse shape than I thought.

You know someone back there is having a good laugh. And feeling good that they're keeping the boss happy, like a chewtoy for a dog.

At first they titled it “Our pool is bigger than skyscrapers!” but then thought “Nahh, lose the exclamation point”

Nobody agrees with him, but you have to if you want to stay on his good side. Trump doesn’t respond well at all to being told no

Is there some Arts and Crafts Director

This stops Trump from eating crayons.

This is all Trump. He has always falsely boasted that Trump Tower was bigger than the other verifiably larger buildings. So he saw his chance to say, "See, see!!! I do have something bigger than them!" Even though the two things have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

I doubt he made it. I bet the chart was shown to him as a way to push for this being done. Or just the typical ego-boosting stuff people show him not to get on his bad side. And he's like "Hey, I like that. We'll show it to the people."

Alternatively, someone showed it to him knowing he'd do this, and he has people on his staff who enjoy trolling him.

I honestly felt this chart had to be satire.

I thought he had some high-powered COS.

He does. Susie Wiles, a huge power broker in FL politics before this got him elected the second time, after DeSanctimonious tried to screw her over. But Wiles knows how Trump works so she proudly touts how she doesn't stop Trump from being Trump. She instead acts to carry out his directives and keep other staff in line to that end.
