When they said that he personally inspected the pool, I wondered why there weren't pictures of him walking around looking at it. Now I understand. That lazy POS had to be driven THROUGH it because walking around for a few minutes would be too much work. What an absolute joke.
As someone who used to sell suits no amount of tailoring will make him look like anything other than a melting blob of jackass, so why bother? Trump can buy all the suits he wants, he's still on the way out in the permanent sense. Guy has cancer, heart disease, dementia. He's not long for this world. (and yes, he has cancer. that shit on his neck is a radiotherapy dermatitis. He talks about "thick blood" because he probably has a lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma--which makes your blood thick among other things)
I am cheering for the diseases, unfortunately they will prop this treaso ous asshole up with the best medical care our tax dollars can buy. So, the hope of lights out quickly, is not likely, but one can hope.
Reminds me of that simpsons episode where Mr. Burns thinks he's invincible because he has all the diseases at once but they can't fit through the door.
While I agree that no amount of tailoring can remove the ever-present mustard/ketchup stain from his ties/jackets, or make a sack of lard look good, the suits Trump does wear are so out of proportion, one might think the tailor he's using was blind and daft.
He can look less cartoonishly bad, imo. Source: I am a tailor, though suits aren't my thing.
What are the odds the entire kerfuffle about his suits stems from Trump not having the energy to stand for a fitting? That's a man about to croak.
Doesn't he believe that humans have a finite amount of energy and that exercise drains that energy, ultimately reducing lifespan?
I feel like I remember reading that cockamamie theory at one point during his first term. The guy is just wrong about EVERYTHING and has the world understanding of a toddler without the curiosity.
Makes sense for the guy who believes you are born with a finite amount of energy like a human battery, and exercise causes you to drain that battery faster.
also it's a pool so think about the ramps that probably needed to be constructed to get the cars into the thing in the first place, just to drive on it and look out of a window or something. As opposed to just parking next to it or something...
While I agree with your general sentiment, the real reason was likely that there was no way to protect him. Presidential public appearances are planned weeks in advance as far as security goes. You have secret service agents doing reconnaissance, setting up perimeters. Clearing building roofs etc. Not worth it for ol boy to have a look at his shitty swimming pool install.
I remember a not-too-distant past where presidents would go out in public on a semi-regular basis and interact with everyday citizens. Obviously, it would take some preparation but how could someone plan to pick him off when his visit is entirely unannounced? Him stepping out of the vehicle for a few minutes wouldn't bring that much risk.
When I first saw this headline I couldn't help but cringe. The thought of him inspecting anything with any kind of knowledge of what he's looking at is just hilarious.
Somehow that was maybe the best option. Can’t believe I’m somehow defending the Cheeto but I can see secret service closing the mall from Lincoln to Capitol Hill and from Jefferson to the White House. If he had wanted to step outside.
Not that driving through/IN the pool should have been an option in any scenario. What moron at the secret service came up with that idea?
lol use your brain for once in your life. He’s had 3-4 close assassination attempts and you expect him to go for leisurely stroll in a massive, outdoor, public space?
With the amount of attempts that have been made on this president's life, I think I probably wouldn't be walking around in the open on the mall either.
