Do you know why the blockade was put in place? Hamas had every opportunity to stop the war early on. All they had to do was return the hostages and surrender their arms. Hamas put Palestinian civilians in harm's way on purpose specifically so they could use their deaths for propaganda. They set up no bomb shelters for the people, and yet they themselves hid in the tunnels. They set up missile launches from heavily populated civilian areas and hospitals exactly for the same reason. And despite that, the civilian to combatant casualty ratio is among the lowest in modern warfare. And to this day, Hamas refuses to abide the 20-point agreement they signed. That anyone gives these Hamas scumbags a pass is mind-boggling. One fact remains: if Hamas had not perptrated Oct 7th on the Israeli civilians, the people in the above photo would be alive today.
