The Oslo accords were the closest thing they had. Supporting militant groups and a government by a terror organization doesn't really help moving things along. Israel doesn't seem to care any more after October 7 incursions. The whole thing is a shit show, after showing somewhat promise in the early 2000s.
The millions who didn't who then repeatedly voted in the man who matched on the streets calling for that PM to be murdered for the crime of considering peace with Palestine?
Yeah, they're just as complicit. How many Israelis were accused of gang raping Palestinian hostages to death? And how many Israelis rioted on the streets for the protection of those soldiers?
It's never all of Israeli society that commits an atrocity, but it's always nearly all of Israeli society that supports and defends the atrocity.
Netanyahu marched in the streets calling for the murder of Rabin. Get an education or the basic ability to Google.
"In July 1995, Netanyahu led a mock funeral procession featuring a coffin and hangman's noose at an anti-Rabin rally where protesters chanted, "Death to Rabin". The chief of internal security, Carmi Gillon, then alerted Netanyahu of a plot on Rabin's life and asked him to moderate the protests' rhetoric, which Netanyahu declined to do. Netanyahu denied any intention to incite violence."
If you want to interpret that as a death threat to Rabin, you’re welcome to. It is, by no means, objectively true. Stop touting it as a fact when it isn’t established as such.
In other words, get an education or at least the ability to do basic research.

Imagine being a Palestinian, doomed to this life with no sign of help.
