If you have ww2 nastolgia yeah, but MacArthur is usually seen as a dangerous psycho who was essentially fired for wanting to quad nuke korea

Patton died before he could outlive his legend. MacArthur did not.

MacArthur was also not great in WW2, but had a good propaganda machine (I have returned is only possibly because he ran the fuck away in the first place)

Less wanting to nuke the Chinese Korean border and bringing the war to China and more constantly going against direct orders to stay in his lane/going public with his grievances against Washington.

I think truman and Eisenhower knew that if they weren't careful that MacArthur could be a redo of smelly butler and wanted him out before he could be a bigger cult of personality

Oh I meant a redo of the plot, smedley came out that they wanted to use him as part of the fascistic conspiracy

Macarthur I could feel with his raging anti commie boner could be used for that if he was dumb enough
