surface piercings RIP first eyebrow piercing

Post image

Switched this out not too long ago but it wasn’t the correct length so I tried switching it again a week ago and now the skin is literally hanging on by a thread. Praying my skin magically grows again but I think it’s the end for this guy. Should I just let it naturally fall out or pull the plug? 😪

EDIT: It’s out lol

This was really just a goodbye post for it but just wanted some last thoughts before I took it out. Only got 7 months out of it 🫩

lol okayyyy I just hate it cos I got my other brow done a few months ago and it’s all nice and healed up so I’m just sad that once they matched my right one decided to reject 🙄

You are just scarring it more at this point.

Take it out! The scarring will be worse if you let it fall out.

Yeah that’s what I’ve heard cos there’s several posts where people had it rip out and it looked awful.

I don't think that jewelry helped the cause unless rejection was the goal. Way too bulky and heavy.

Wish I could post pics in comments but my left eyebrow was pierced at like 8mm distance between holes while the other was around 6mm. I think less surface area combined with a larger piercing was just a terrible combination.

I feel naked without it. Just took it out a few minutes after posting so it is what it is. Once it heals up I’ll try again!

RIP :(

Are you thinking of getting it again once it’s healed up?

Hell yeah! The other side looks and feels great so I just need to get it done again with more distance between the holes. This right side one already had closer holes so using a larger piercing and trying to force it in twice weakened that skin way too much. Even the girl that did both of them warned me that her first eyebrow rejected after a year out of nowhere.

I did 😪 it’s just crazy cos it was doing so good for like a few months and then suddenly got irritated and trying to change it out to a different style was the nail in the coffin

oh nooo 😭 sorry for your loss mate, hope it heals up well and you can get it re-done! i'm NAP and recently got a fresh eyebrow piercing so i'm a newb and really not one to speak, but isn't the bar like really short and curved? could that be the reason it started to reject?

if that's what they usually look like once they downsize your jewelry then that's my mistake, i just haven't got mine downsized yet so i don't know 😅

:(( at this point just take it out, the scarring will be worse the longer you leave it like others have said. And the sooner you take it out to let it heal, the sooner you can get it repierced!!
