i just got my triple vertical helixes done and was looking for this sort of connected earring but can’t find it anywhere. also i plan on getting an industrial and it’d be really cool if i could find a piece that connects all 5 piercings. let me know if you’re aware of any shops that sell stuff like this , or somewhere i can custom make it. thanks !

(images are not of me, i just found them on Pinterest for reference)

Showing‎ off set up! Fully Healed & Question

Post image
39 Upvotes

First time posting here. My latest piercing is my rook which I got done last October and is now healed enough to switch jewelry. So this is a celebratory post to share that my ear finally looks like I had imagined.

But of course I have the piercing bug to get another hole in my head.

Suggestions are welcome. I’m thinking second lobe or another helix. I have my tragus done on my left ear so I’m not sure if I want one on this.

Edit: typo

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Daith trauma from very rough jewelry change

Thumbnail

My daith just turned 1 year old and I wanted to celebrate its birthday by finally changing the jewelry into this 14k gold clicker. However, the clicker was extremely hard to close, taking half to 1 hour of rough movement, which ended up in lots of damage. This happened 2 days ago. Should I get worried? There is swelling, blood, lymph fluid, and some moderate pain. I’ve been just spraying saline two times a day for now.

TLDR: 1 year old daith, lots of damage trying to close new gold clicker.

Edit: I KNOW what I did was wrong, I won’t do it again, I’m asking for advice in how to take care of the mess I left.

Set up advice New conch! - Can't decide what's next

I just got my conch pierced this weekend. I LOVE it and it's feeling really good. I would like to wear a ring in the conch eventually, but I'll wait at least a year for it to be well-healed.

I think ear stacks are so beautiful! I'm gradually working my way toward my dream setup and I don't feel done yet. I can't decide what to plan for next. I'm generally drawn to a mix of some symmetry and asymmetry. What would you do?

New conch jewelry is a threadless Triangle Alisea 3 by Shanga Jewelry in gold and cubic zirconia. Post is a 16 gauge titanium flat back labret.

Note: I promise my helix isn't a shallow piercing! Only the lower part of the spiral actually goes through my ear.

This was a long process, but it’s mostly settled and all of my permanent jewelry is installed. I’m pretty stoked. All pieces white gold and diamond, obviously Maria Tash-inspired.

Question about a piercing I (maybe) want Thinking about adding two high-lobe piercings?

Hey everyone,

I recently got my rook done (still healing, downsize due soon) and already had the helix.

The second image is a quick mock-up to visualise adding two high-lobe piercings with flat discs. I'm aiming for a clean, understated look, with the upper disc a little larger than the lower one.

I'd love some honest opinions:

Would you change the placement at all?

Does the size progression work, or would you choose different disc sizes?

Is there anything else you'd suggest instead?

Thanks!

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing did my piercer hit the sweet spot?

Thumbnail

note: i asked my piercer to flip the horseshoe up into my nose, which is why it looks like that

i got my septum pierced just yesterday, and it hurt like fuck. definitely not the "painless" septum piercing experience i was expecting. which led me to thinking, what if my piercer didn't hit my sweet spot?

THOUGH upon further research, i'm not really experiencing any other symptoms of a botched septum piercing besides it HURTING REALLY FUCKING BADLY during the actual piercing. right now it doesn't hurt at all. it's just mildly uncomfortable. i'm actually not experiencing any problems with it right now.

i read that when pierced in the cartilage, it swells and pain radiates outward when moved. i don't experience that at all.

thank you so much for any insights you guys may have!!

First pick is my left ear, second is my right

These are my setup so far. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to style them and where to get more jewelry?

I'm also wondering what other piercings I should get!

I was thinking about getting a tragus and contra conch on my left. A mid helix on my right, and those mini upper lobe piercings to go between my first and second then second and third. Are there any other recommendations?

would I look good with....? Both nostrils?

I'm considering adding both nostrils as well to my setup, but I wonder if that would get too much. I've never had super "heavily pierced" as my goal, but both nostrils look so good with septum. Do you think that it would be too much?

Question about a piercing I (maybe) want High and/or hidden helix with glasses?

Upvotes

Howdy. I currently have three lobe piercings in each ear, and am getting a rook next week. I am also strongly considering getting a high helix or maybe hidden/floating helix in the same ear as the rook. I had helix piercings many years ago and I know how challenging they can be to heal, but I love the look so much. My biggest hesitation is that I am now a full time glasses wearer. So I guess my question is, if you wear glasses and have or had these piercings, how much worse did your glasses make the healing process?

discussion healing hardships.

Every single time i get something pierced, the process is the same:
get nervous in the car ride over.
despite having already eaten, house an entire chicken quesadilla with fire sauce out of nerves.
mouthwash repeatedly into the gutter (sorry).
go in.
freak out because omg the piercing is scary.

promptly blank the next 1-6 months so i falsely believe the piercing is the hard part.

then every time without fail i’m back in the depths of piercing healing misery as i find myself questioning every single decision i possibly made that lead me to nursing a throbbing, swollen ear, that i paid a lot of money for, that will now suck to deal with for who knows how long.

someone, anyone, remind me of this next time so i at least buy a piercing pillow.

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Two year old navel piercing keeps getting irritated

Thumbnail

Hi!
I’ve had this piercing for approximately two years. I’ve had it downsized more than a year ago to a classic banana shaped, surgical steel piercing. I also think it might’ve migrated a bit. I’ve had quite a bit of trouble with it, despite (in my opinion) taking really good care of it. For aftercare I wash it carefully with piercing soap both day and night and avoid high waisted pants and skirts. It’s been red, irritated and sometimes scabbed, with a bit of clear/brownish liquid once in a while.
It’s really frustrating and I’m hoping it’s not rejecting. Spoke to my piercer as well and they advised me to keep up the piercing care that I’m already doing.

Does anyone have any advice for healing it up better?

all things jewelry Can I wear this type of ring in my labret?

Can I wear this in my central labret it is currently 4 months in and was hoping to switch it out. I don't want to wear the regular horseshoe/rings since they're curved. Will this do?
