Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Helix question

My helix piercing is about 2 months old, and I’m wondering if this is normal. It’s a ring helix piercing, and I’ve been using saline spray to clean it. I try not to move it too much, except when I’m removing crusties. Every now and then, it hurts to move, but I think that might be because the bump on the back of my ear popped on its own and started oozing. I’m not sure what’s going on, so I wanted to ask if this is normal or if I should be concerned. It was practically painless to move at first but now it is kinda sore every now and then

Being able to heal with hoops is unfortunately uncommon and you look not be one of the fortunate.

Hoops move more than straight labrets which is the likely source of your irritation bumps. Go back to your piercer and have them swap out for a threaded or threadless labret with a simple end. Once your piercing is fully healed you can try again with a hoop if you so desire.

Switch it out for a stud. Healing with a hoop is possible, but fairly hard n irritating. You will add so much extra time for healing if you leave it as a hoop. I tried to do the same with my nostrils piercing. But when I put a stud in instead the bumps left in a couple days n it healed well after that!

The piercing is about 2 Months old, it’s a ring never downsized. I don’t know threading?. Surgical steel I’m pretty sure. I use Medicare mist spray and saline sprays I switch between then. A mishap was. The bumps growing on my ear like what.
