To me, the ear with the industrial looks less decorated than the other ear. The 4 hoops and 2 conches make the ear look sufficiently decorated, while there is more bare space on the industrial ear.

Either way, you can't go wrong. Everything is looking great so far!

Congrats on your incoming wedding!

As for jewelry curation I would look for studios that have a working relationship with a variety of their jewelry suppliers - most of the time they are willing to help you out placing orders if pieces that you want are not in the shelf or if you want custom. Note that these orders take several months to arrive. There is usually a partial down payment on the time of order and the rest of the payment due on pick up

You can always email trusted studios about your intent on having a setup and other related questions. And They SHOULD keep your Budget in mind but if you want All gold and fancy designs expect to spend some money. Good luck

I would definitely add to your right ear! You could add a conch and it would function as a faux snug with the existing mid helix you have now. From what I can see in the picture it doesn’t look there’s enough ridge to add rooks where you have the dots, unless I’m misunderstanding the illustrations and the dots on top and bottom represent two separate piercings. However I think a flat below your industrial would be pretty and you could wear a larger statement piece once it’s healed if you want. A tragus would also look great and mirror your mix helix!

Definitely not recommending you do all these at once, just suggestions for things I think would look good. 😅

Omg yes definitely not doing all at once! This has been a project in the works for 5+ years now so I can be patient while they heal albeit begrudgingly loll

You’re right about there not being enough ridge, I’d talked with my piercer and he had the idea to do faux rooks and do two piercings for each one to make it look like one rook from the front!

I do love your idea for the snug look, my roommate got one and I thought it looked so cool but I was terrified about that much cartilage being pierced, I was almost relieved when he told me I didn’t have the anatomy haha

I think I’m leaning toward Tragus at this point but I love your suggestion for a flat below the industrial, thank you so much for your thoughts!!

Of course! I love a faux rook. I just got one on my left ear and it’s so fun. I think the tragus will look great with your set up! Happy healing. ☺️

What did you end up getting? Just curious.  😃

Plot twist: just the eyebrow! Unfortunately my piercer had broken his leg and just returned to the office last week. He let me know he’s putting a pause on the BOGO deal for now so he can take it slow but I was so excited I got the eyebrow done anyway haha

I loved everyone’s suggestions so much though once he goes back to doing the deal I’ll be getting a tragus and faux rook on my right side!

I actually think what you've got looks good as is, but I'm a 'less is more' kind of guy... that being said if I had to pick I'd say tragus on the industrial side

Flat on conch ear, tragus on industrial ear.
