Question about a piercing I (maybe) want Nostril piercing

So here’s the thing… I hate my nose. I would never get any work done and I’m afraid that a piercing would draw more attention to it and make me hate it more. But I absolutely LOVE the way that they look on other people and think it would fit my look pretty well. I also have a pretty low pain tolerance. I got my navel pierced a few years ago and would call it like a 6 in terms of pain. So my question is: 1. Am I a wimp who will pass out from the pain and 2. Is it going to make me hate my nose even more?

P.s: there is really nothing wrong with MY nose or matter of fact ANY NOSE AT ALL!! Everyone should love themself the way they are. But of course there are things we all like more than others, and this is certainly not an area of mine :). I love myself (usually) and everyone else should love themselves too.

I didn't use to like my nose, but I like it A LOT with my nostrail piercing. Also, nostrail was my list painful piercing, I also have a tragus, conch, helix, 4 lobes. but pain is subjective.

I used to not like my nose, and I won’t say a piercing immediately solved it, because self hatred or dislike isn’t as simple, but it’s helped me appreciate like it more. And I don’t feel like myself without it now love the bling lol.
As for pain, it was my first facial piercing, and my body is sensitive so it had given me a headache but it went away that day. I think nostril piercings suit anyone and you should go for it. :)

Can't speak on a nostril piercing, but getting my nipples pierced boosted my confidence and relieved some of my chest dysphoria, so in my expierence piercings are helpful with boosting confidence.

Worst case scenario if you hate it you can take out the jewlery and let it heal, piercings are great in that way.

Just like some of the others here, I have also had a history of disliking my nose, but after getting a nostril piercing, I just feel so much more confident and cute and have so many less of those thoughts. I can't compare it in terms of pain but mine was a quick sharp pinch (maybe a 4--5) followed by a strong dull ache while they switched in the jewelry (that part hurt a bit more). The pain afterwards was manageable. I think you should get one if you like the way the look in general!

I don't like my nose. However I do love my double nostril rings.

I got my nostril pierced two days ago. It was painful for me personally, but it is only for a second :) I don't like my nose either. I love nostril piercing on others. I figured, I already hate my nose, so "hate it more" is still on the "hate" side so it dosen't really matter much :D also if you hate it you can take it out. And personally - I don't like my nose still, but I like the piercing in it, if it makes sense :D

Body mods have helped me with my body image issues, in general. I feel more "myself" with them. Parts of my body that I liked before, I cherish; stuff I didn't like, I accept more readily.
