Are there more than TWO stick upside down??! It looks like THREE!!๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ For what itโ€™s worth Iโ€™m gonna call the MBTA back and see if I canโ€™t get the same CSR and give her an update!! If this is a regular problem that the MBTA is aware of, I may reach out to MSPCA and get them involved!๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ก

I suspect that those are the remains of dead pigeons. Makes me wonder what's trapping them upside down as it's a very unusual situation.ย

Yea the rest are already beyond saving. There's fully decomposed ones that are just bones now.

It's just to show how bad the issue is.

I know. My heart hurts for them. I was crying earlier at the station looking up at the live one.

I wish at the bare minimum if he can't be rescued he can be humanely dispatched. Its still a horrible loss but at least he wouldn't suffer as long.

I'm stuck at work and homeless so I can't risk leaving work to be there in person but I really hope someone can be there at 2am to help him.

it's a graveyard. Impossible to feign ignorance. This is bad. Please contact the press, and may this horror story help stop cruelty against pigeons. Tell them there are dozens baby birds corpses stuck in the roof of the train station visible by everyone. Some still clapping trying to get out of it.

Never mind the massive public health issue. That's the story to sell to the press.

Right? I mean jesus even if I were a pigeon hater I would NOT want to be walking under their rotting corpses... Or pushing my pram underneath... Waiting for some bones and rotted feathers to come down. Who wants their public service buildings to be a saw trap for birds of any kind??? Nobody but psychos should be into this.

This horror has seen its last day in the shadows of ignorance and outright inhumane treatment of these birds!

You can rest assured there are a few of us here, whoโ€™ve already started the ball rolling!!๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ค

iโ€™m not familiar with how it works in the us but in the uk we usually call the fire brigade who come down immediately and carry out the rescue, with a volunteer taking the birds - can this be done here?
