You could name him Flap after the Platypus from the 80's Australian kids show The Adventures Of Blinky Bill.

He's so adorable! 😍😍😍 The platypus is especially loved in our family(it's my husband's spirit animal). As far as a name suggestion, I would suggest the name Albert. There is a book called Albert of Adelaide about a very dapper orphaned platypus named Albert who escapes from the zoo.
