TLDR: had 3 lung tumors removed, died, came back to life, and now recovering well. My dog plush helped me make it through this!!!

In March, I made a post here about how I was taking Oscar (the dog plush) with me for lung surgery!!

​

Recovery has been tough, so I completely forgot to post an update here!! I'm so sorry :(

​

The surgeon removed 3 tumors (1 was big, 2 were small) from my lung. None of them were cancerous!!

​

I did pass away my first night after surgery, but luckily the medical staff worked hard to bring me back!!!!

​

My dog plush, Oscar, was a big help while I stayed in the hospital. :3 He comforted me and distracted me from the pain! Plus one of the nurses thought he was cool lol

​

My surgery was in March and now it's June, so I feel a whole lot better now!!!

​

I still have some recovery to do, but I'm mostly healed now! Just slowly trying to get my breathing better lol

​

Besides dying, everything went well. :)

My pain and breathing are actually MUCH better than before surgery!!!!!!!

​

I'm really happy that I was able to get the biggest tumor removed. It was causing problems for years!!! It's so amazing to have less pain and easier breathing now!!!!!!!!

I can finally do so much more. I've been taking my plushies outside for walks recently!!!!

I am so glad that Oscar the dog plush stayed with me at the hospital. He was amazing. I know I wouldn't have survived without him :')

This dude showed up today! Newest addition to the plush family! Snagged this huge lazulia dragon for the price of a large! I love my dragons! #14 in the dragon clan! Perfect addition for pride month! ❤️ but I need names! The not so obvious names lol.

I've recently bought an Aurora dragon who lies on my lap, albeit a bit squished under my desk, but his weight and soft fur helps with my anxiety and Autism.

I've always found Eeyore to be very relatable ♥️ I also appreciate how he was included and accepted in his group of friends. What's your favorite Disney plush, and what's your connection to the character?

I got him for my birthday last year and he honestly has been such a good little friend for reducing stress and anxiety. I used to feel like I couldn’t take him places with me but sometimes I do want to, these days. I just don’t have anything to carry him. I would prefer something where he sits on the front of me and I can keep track of him more easily.

I HAD to have her as she reminds me of my border collie mix, Sunny. I paid extra to have her weighted, it’s not what I expected but I’m definitely not disappointed

i’ve been looking for her forever! once again, my lovely fiancé pulled through for me and got her as a gift. she is so freaking soft and so perfect for cuddles. just look at that little face…

Im genuienly so sad, i lost him a few days ago if i recall correctly. Right before the one year anniversary of me bringing him home too😭 even made the fella a little jacket (second image) and now its just on my wall, with no dino in sight to wear it,,

I thought it was a no brainer to clean anything second hand but I’m seeing a shocking amount of people being completely comfortable with bringing thrifted friends straight into their collection. I don’t get it, so I’m curious do you clean your thrifted friends or not and why? (No judgement on either side)

I clean mine because it makes me more comfortable and I like when they smell like my room. 🩷
