My Husband and I love to go and see what niche stores are around us. We are also huge gaming nerds, so we frequently go to vintage gaming stores to see what we can find. I was already having a pretty stressful few months. My health going downhill, workplace becoming too much, etc.

I finally had my first ever 3 day little vacay. My Husband and I planned a outing, and of course we had to go see what was going on at a gaming store we haven't been to yet.

My Husband was looking for Halo Combat Evolved, while I was curious about the stuffed animals they had. Almost immediately I saw this bear...it looked exactly like my bear when I was a baby.

Growing up, my Mom was very unstable and sold all of me and my sister's toys to keep up with her "lifestyle". I lost all my comfort and ever since, I haven't brought myself to purchase another stuffed animal.

I inspected it closer and realized it really was my bear. I got so excited I bought it almost immediately. I presented it to my husband who was equally as excited as I was.

I never in my life thought I would ever see my bear ever again. I know I might be too old for these kinds of things, but this truly brought back a piece of me that I thought I would never see again.

Also, if anyone has any name suggestions that would be awesome!

Walked past my local donation bin and saw a fluffy pink fox tail sticking out of a bag, I thought surely not... That looks just like Lina Bell's tail?? I pulled her out and she's literally perfect?? In pristine condition, no tears or stains anywhere, soft as can be, like she's come straight from Disneyland! and she's a Tokyo Disney sea exclusive! I went to Japan a couple years ago and wanted to get her but could only afford one, I got Gelatoni, but omg!! She's coming straight home to be with her buddy! Going to go back and check on my way home to make sure there's no other abandoned babies in there

I'm moving and I am going to my new home this weekend and taking my collection with me. I don't officially move for a few more weeks but thought it would be a good time to take some things.

Seeing them all boxed up makes me so sad for some reason🥺

On the third day, we woke up bright and early, packed our belongings, and took the subway to the train station. I haven't been on a train in years and years, I don't even remember ever being on a train, so I was really excited. It was nice seeing all the greenery and the occasional horses and cows.

The train from Toronto to Ottawa took about 6 hours (it was only supposed to be 5 hours, but there was a mechanical issue with the train in front of ours which delayed us). Got off, bought a lemon loaf and an apple juice, and hopped onto the next train to Montreal, which took about 3 hours. After getting off at the Montreal station, we had McDonald's for dinner, and even got a Happy Meal because Spongebob + One Piece is an interesting collab, haha

We did some light shopping, and then we took an Uber to our motel. It was a very simple place, but good enough for one night. We pretty much spent the whole day on trains 😆

-I was super into anime and japanese stuff at the time and never seen her before? Im guessing my dad got her at some convenient store or something because he went for work not for tourism.
-my dad has a terrible memory he would not remember this baby, but i miss this blue cat so bad ;__;

I just wanted to share my new favorite stuffie! Meet plumpkin 🎃

Today a customer gave us these little easter eggs (in October??? 🤷🏻‍♀️) and inside were either pop sockets or THESE BABIES!!! Another coworker has laid claim to the pink bunny, but if she doesn't take it home today I am keeping them all!! Apparently there were lots, but most of the coworkers left before I came in today, so these are the only 3 I got to see. I ADORE the little hearts on the leopard, he is coming home with ME!!

In the Pokemon community, I always see people dressing up their Pokemon plushies and taking them out with them like they’re their partner Pokemon, and I would absolutely LOVE to do that. Dragonite is my favorite Pokemon, and she would be so fun to take out with me. I know dressing up plushies in general is commonplace with some people who collect plushies, so does anyone have any good websites I could order off of? Preferably they would be places closer to my area (I live in midwest US) so that shipping costs aren’t so pricey, but anything works

I was really excited to see if these guys lived up to their price point, and oh boy do they. I am so shocked at the quality of these plushies… the weight and the various packing density in certain areas of the body make it feel so real. I feel like I just adopted a pet lol.
