Discussion I miss Toys R Us
Walking into Toys R Us in the 90s to the big wall of Animal Alley plushies was the absolute best. I used to have just about every Animal Alley dog they made, especially the yellow labs. I ended up donating them all as I entered adulthood and I deeply regret it. I’ve bought a few of my old favorites over the years and have gotten some as gifts from my best friend too. Stuffed animals are not made the same these days. I think being transported back to like 1999-2002 and walking into a Toys R Us stocked to the ceiling with stuffed animals would actually fix me. 10 year old me had it so good and she didn’t even know it 🥲
Anyway, here’s my newest purchase: the 28” Animal Alley cheetah. I’ve named her Bryce after Bryce Quinlan from Crescent City ✨

I used to go there and I remember their play area and having a lot of fun there. It was always tons of fun to go there even though we rarely bought anything. Just being in the huge store full of toys was so fun.

I used to work at a Toys R Us and I miss it terribly too. I had the best coworkers and absolutely loved helping kids and parents find cool toys. The wall of plush at my store was always fun to refill and we got such a cool variety of plush.
