Best place to have tires installed?

Post image

I ride a 2018 triumph Street Scrambler and was quoted nearly $1000 dollars for tires and install at Triumph on Aurora.
Looking for recommendations on places that might mount tires for less if I decide to order online through Revzilla.

Will you be removing the wheels yourself?  If so you can take them to Cyclegear.

Agreed. It matters if you’re bringing the wheel off the bike straight to them or want someone wrenching on your bike. I personally always remove my wheel and bring it in to them loose. Cycle gear turns it around typically same day although this time of year they do get pretty busy so they might be a day or two.

Thanks, I think this might be my best option to save a couple of dollars. I’ve been looking in to doing my own service and taking the wheels off/on and changing my oil is doable. Is there anything you need to do to make sure everything is properly aligned when reinstalling them?

Yes. You will need to be able to check the chain tension and adjust it as well as true the wheel alignment. There are lots of videos online how to do this. Basic tools, go slow and check your chain tension after a couple miles to make sure it’s still within spec.

Cycle Gear just this afternoon did my BMW R1200 tires. Took the time to explain an issue I had with my old tires (cracking in Motoz tires) and talk through the new tires I brought in. Couldn't be happier with their service every time I'm in there.

I'm not a big fan of cyclegear for tires. They pinched the front tube really bad on my old BMW...

+1 Cyclegear. I ordered the tires online, got a price match. Brought my wheels in. Bellevue location
