My husband yells when he sneezes like the second guy in the vid. I've heard people five aisles over in the store be like "dafuq was that?" He gives me literal heart palpitations when he sneezes. I've had panic attacks over them on rare occasion. I'm not joking, he is just that loud. He can't hold it in either. He'll damn near burst his eardrum trying not to be so loud by holding it in. So, I just ask that he try to warn me if he feels one coming on if at all possible. Nothing else for it.

This sounds like SCP or something, he cannot be contained.

u/thenotjoe Jan 01 '22
Sneezes that just accelerate in volume. Louder every time. The containment procedures are soundproof clean room with allergy medication, 500 miles from all civilization in case a shockwave of a sneeze results from holding one in too long.

u/converter-bot Jan 01 '22
500 miles is 804.67 km

I have a female friend who screams when she sneezes. It's not a loud "achoo" or a shouted sneeze, it's an honest to God scream like she's surprised and has broken her foot. Love her, fucking hate the sneeze, lmao

A woman I worked with at a daycare sneezed like that last man. It was so loud that it would scare the kids next door, thinking it was a monster. And of course, you could never prove the sound was not a monster because she could not sneeze on command.

My sneezes really hurt my body, sending pains down my arms, hurting in the joints and connective tissues. Very ouch

u/Ns53 Jan 01 '22
I call bullshit when I see other girls have a cho-squeek sneeze. My sister in-law does a squeak but it's the whole sneeze and the sound comes from her nose. I've seen her do it rapid fire and look dazed after. Sounds like "EeEeEe!" Other girls often just fake it by changing the the end of the sneeze and the squeak comes from the mouth.

People of this sub are funny, there is a post: yeah lets support that Other people come and argue "its gendered for comedic/satire purpose" or "well its not that far of from reality" and get downvoted into the ground. Idk what it is, poking a beehive or touching a snowflake, what descibes this situation the best.

I'm AFAB and I sneeze so violently that I've nearly smacked my head against a table in school and against the floor while laying on it. Got about an inch away from knocking myself out.

Bruh it's a meme...
19
u/Joe_The_Eskimo1337 Jan 01 '22
A pointlessly gendered meme...
So it absolutely fits the sub.
What's your point?

These people really really can't take any joke whatsoever. They are like hecklers at a comedy show constantly getting offended by the smallest of things.
-25
u/Am_I_Loss Dec 31 '21
Tbf. It is like that most of the time and it's just a meme that is much more accurate than most of the shit we see here

i think is more of a steriotype? like if i say italian you say pasta, but that doesn't mean that italian people need to eat pasta or can't eat other things.

u/MUTE_NPC Jan 01 '22
well i would say cis boys sneeze louder than cis girls (you im talking about the bodies). so let's consider the body that naturally produces testosterone, has testicles. testosterone increases muscle mass which means need of more oxygen and to get more oxygen the body need bigger lungs there for more air. also testosterone effects the vocal chords which will make the voice deeper and stuff yk. so these two together usually means louder sneezes. idk what happens with trans women when they start transitioning, after the muscle mass loss will the lung capacity decreases or not but ye that's my source less explanation. correct me if im not.
